Claire House Design was founded by principal designer Shandy Arend. 

The firm’s passion is creating an environment for you to live the best version of your life.  For the last 7 years owning and operating a design firm in Kansas City, we have worked with clients across many different aesthetics and different project types, including custom new builds, renovations, full service furnishings, and virtual design.  

Our values of creativity, growth, responsibility, and beauty come into play in every aspect of your project, from the first call, to working with trades and installers, to the final installation, our goal is for you to love the final result and enjoy the journey to get there.

Problem solving is a necessary and normal part of the design process.  Faced with the inevitable, our first question is always “what is the opportunity here?”.  Open, clear communication between our team and all others involved in your project is a top priority.
